The Scotsman MXG938 is a modular supercube ice machine, producing 400kg of ice every 24 hours. The ice machines are designed to be fitted to a separate storage bin. The MXG938 creates the Gourmet Supercube Ice, the supercube ice is the most popular type of ice cube- ideal for coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs. Made in the famous Scotsman thimble shape they are even available in four different sizes.
The clarity of the ice makes them the perfect choice for drinks presentation whilst the purity ensures that they are slow melting. The unique shape means these cubes are less prone to sticking together in the ice bucket as well as being easier to handle than a more traditional square cube.
Supercubes are made from spraying water upwards into an inverted mould. Inverting the mould means that sediment or impurities in the water fall back down, leaving just the pure water to form the cube making them very hard.
