The Merlin LPG Sensor is designed to work in conjunction with Merlin Interlocking panels. Installing the sensor close to the ground (50cm) is necessary to detect the build up of LPG. This distance to ground level is due to Liquid Petroleum gas being denser than air. The Merlin LPG Sensor will trigger an alarm at 10% of the low explosion level of LPG in air, and immediately isolate the gas valve. Resetting the gas valve can only be achieved by locating the source of the build-up, allowing the detector to clear and resetting the Merlin panel that the sensor is connected to.
