Falcon's ScanHeat™ Microwave changes the game in terms of quick self service. Especially in such settings as hospitals, universities or the care home sector. Instead of the traditional time & power input used in commercial microwaves, the IMS-1800S uses a built in barcode reader to analyse the presented meal and cook accordingly. Resulting in perfectly consistent results time after time.

Fully stainless steel chassis, with a large 18 litre capacity, the ScanHeat™ Microwave is ready for the rigors of any commercial kitchen, or even public facing areas such as grab & go venues or deli's. With 11 power levels, 3 cooking stages and 900 barcode menus, the ScanHeat™ has the ultimate in flexibility for customized cooking results.

How it works:
• Inside the oven cavity is a laser scanner, think the barcode scanner at your local supermarket.
• Using the included software that is available for both PC & Mac, you can create barcodes for each new menu item, by specifying power level and time.
• Once done, simply print the QR code it produces (or take a photo with your phone), and scan this into the Microwave.
• From then, you'll be able to scan the barcode of your meal, close the door and let the ScanHeat™ do the rest.
