Expert advice:
If waffles stick to the plates it may be due to the mix that's used. Waffle mixes with low sugar content can be cooked at higher temperatures, while the high sugar mixes require a lower temperature to stop the outside caramelising before the inside has cooked. Using a small spray oil can also help to release the waffles.
