Merlin Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector

The Merlin CO Detector is designed to be used in standalone, or paired with Merlin interlock panels. It is designed to detect and alert potential treats from carbon monoxide. This harmful gas is most commonly found in commercial kitchens that utilise solid fuel cooking equipment, such as tandori ovens and wood fired pizza ovens.)
Carbon monoxide is denser than air, meaning the ideal position for a detector is 1 meter from ground level. Once the sensor detects the presence of CO at a level exceeding 50ppm for over 4 minutes the attached system will enter it's alarm state. Alerting the user to the rising gas levels.

If used in conjunction with the Merlin 3000S Demand Control panel, the panel will automatically spin up the extraction system if carbon monoxide is detected. This will also work if the system is switched off, eliminating the danger of built up carbon monoxide in a kitchen environment that is not in use.
