The Merlin 2000S Ventilation Interlock System with Gas Pressure Transducer has been designed to help ventilation systems in commercial catering establishments and professional kitchens comply with BS 6173. The 2000S panel is designed for use in kitchens where the gas appliances do not have flame failure devices fitted and gas proving is required.
The Merlin 2000S system acts as an interlock between the ventilation system and the gas solenoid valve - when adequate ventilation is present, the gas solenoid valve will open and gas appliances can be used. The system can be used with both current monitors and air pressure differential switches to interlock with up to four fans.
