Labcold

Labcold was founded in 1932 as Boro Dairy Laboratories and Appliance Company Ltd. Labcold's history stretches back, offering laboratory analytical services to London, appointed analysts to the Ice Cream Alliance, and then supplying specialist laboratory temperature control equipment for the medical food, pharmaceutical and life science related applications.

In 1974, Boro Labs was becoming known for it's supply of Ultra Low Temperature Freezers and Sparkfree laboratory refrigerators and freezers from its growing "Labcold" division.

In 2007 Boro Labs was renamed to Labcold to coincide with the companys 75th Anniversary.

Today Labcold is established as a leading specialist UK manufacturer and supplier of medical and laboratory refrigerators and freezers. Labcold refrigerators and freezers have developed a reputation with large corporate and medical establishments for being safe, secure and reliable through quality construction and performance with key safety and monitoring facilities. Labcold Medical Device Standard blood bank refrigerators are now the UK market leader, complemented by a variety of other temperature related products for a blood transfusion department use.
