When ordering a Ice Machine we recommend that you purchase a water filter if the location of the unit is in a hard water area. To find out which areas are hard and soft please click here.
When purchasing a water filter set, we will provide you with a filter cartridge that is specific to your machine, a QLB3 head, 2 FIT17 adapters & 2 HOSE61H hoses suitable for a ¾” water connection. If any installation components such as a saddle valve, compression tee or install valve is needed, please contact us on 01229 480001 & we will source one for you. Also, we strongly recommend that a plumber sets up the water filter set.
The best filter for this product is a Everpure i2000 Filter – EV961227. The new and improved antimicrobial protection inhibits any potential bacterial growth. This reduces water-related ice machine problems caused by scale build-up from dirt and dissolved minerals.
